4 step method to easy content sharing

4 step method to easy content sharing

Content Sharing

The past couple days I have written
to you about having some daily
discipline and taking small actions.

[survey id=639726144]

Today I wanted to share 4 simple steps
I take during the week on multiple
occassions to get my content shared.

If you still have not started taking action,
since first receiving my emails you have
lost many oppotrtunities to get your
thoughts and knowledge out there, so
lets have at it already!.

1) Write a blog post (using whatever platform
you are currently using, but get one up
and available for the world to see)

2) Ping your blog post: Head to Pingler to add
your post so that the search engines and bots
can recognize that there is new content.

3) Socially share your blog post on these sites
minimally and others that you might belong to:

-Facebook and Facebook Fanpage (if you have one)
-Pinterest (having an image in your post is needed)
-Google Plus
-LinkedIn
-Twitter

I use a tool called Pic Redirect to often share my
images and blog posts easily.  If you have certain
sites which might usually get blocked on Facebook,
like Empower Network for example, this gets
past that easily.

4) Send your link post with some clues to your
own email subscriber list so that they can
find out about your new content as well and
engage with you about it as well.  (Google loves
engagement!)

If you are still in the hunt for a blog platform,
email autoresponder and more tools to help you
carry these steps out, I would highly recommend
the Pure Leverage tools suite which you can
see here:

http://TheDavidGardner.com/Leverage

If you do not want all the tools, but just want
the simple blog and email service, I suggest
GVO’s smaller package at just $10/month
which you can get here:

http://TheDavidGardner.com/HostWithGVO

Either way, if you choose one of these or
go with another company, the key is that
you keep taking action!

Nothing will happen if you do not get your
content out there to let others know that
you exist, are knowledgeable and can help
them solve a problem they have.

So go take those 4 steps and implement them
right now.

Then promise to do it again a couple times
a week and turn it into a habit.

How to find the time you might ask?

Give up TV or cut back on it as most of it
has absolutely no benefit to you whatsoever
when it comes to growth in your business.

To making it happen easy and more often!

GVO Conference

I have been a member of GVO for over 14 months.  They host many of my websites (inlcuding this blog you are reading now!) and I have been extremely satisfied with their support and programs.  Just recently they helped me fix html code for one of my websites.

Currently as a member of GVO, I have access to GVO Conference, which is a 10 seat conference room where I can have people from all over the world join me in an online webinar, video/audio chat and more.  They have continually upgraded this and are launching it as its own network marketing product.  Currently, it is in the pre-launch phase, but it is still a working product.  They have tweaked, added, sampled and more to make it the smoothest running software they could think of.

As mentioned above, whether it is hosting your own webinar, having an audio or video chat, sharing files or prospecting online, you want to make sure your system can withstand the fluctuations that regularly occur in the United States and around the world in regards to computer technology.  As Joel Therien, the founder of GVO Conference puts it, this is all its own material with its own fiber optic hook up and own regulations.  Becuase of this, they can charge whatever they want for it.  Where you could be paying up to $100 per month with another company to host your webinars and more, Joel tells us you will love the price they are offering you (keeping it secret as this is currently the team building phase as well.)

I remember going to an informational meeting for Market America a few years back on a cold and snowy night, driving to someones house who has thought we would be a good fit into the company and sitting through an hour or so of their “opportunity.”  They had flip charts and pamphlets for us to take and look over so we could make our own informed decission of whether or not we wanted to join their program.  Later they told us about a webinar that we could watch to show some of our list of candidates (that we thought might want to check out the opportunity as well.)

Now this would have been nice to watch in the first place, where I could have gotten some general ideas and then moved forward with the physical meeting later on at the house.  If I can get something done from home, it sure beats having to go out and away from the family for sure.  I am sure many of you reading this will feel the same way when it comes to running your business.  The idea that you could set it up and run trainings, FAQ sessions, webinars, audio and video chatting and much more from home should be very appealing for all business owners.

One example would be for people in the multi level marketing or MLM industry, in that they could save on the travel and renting of hotel rooms and instead have people enroll in one of their online webinars and participate that way.  I know it is a different dynamic than being their first hand, but with the changes in technology today, people want things to be easier and easier to access.  Heck, I went to one of the Market America hotel meetings and they wanted $15 to attend and called it a training session.  For the members themselves they wanted $5 each time they brought someone else to view the opportunity and made it out to be like a dues fee!  I found that somewhat strange that they had to pay to see the opportunity.  I considered it a chance to educate myself in how the “system” works sometimes.

People do not want to pay to have to hear stuff, instead invite them to the no risk, no cost , webinar where they can learn more from the comfort of their home and are not put into an akward position of chatter with someone face to face over a product they might not care to promote.  There is a whole slew of ideas that can be put to debate on MLM companies, but that is for another story.

As technology continues to change, Joel Therien has continued to change his business as well.  GVO Conference is going to make your life much easier for your company.  Lets say for example you are a health food store near a large grocery store.  You are probably paying a lot in advertising to get people to come to your store, so being in the mind of spending money, you might as well invest some of that instead to a program that can help improve your customer relations.  With conference room software you can set up webinars where customers can come and see new ways to use health food and vitamins in conjunction with a fitness routine.  Or there could be a weekly cooking session where the store uses their own items (so people know exactly where they can get everything of course!) and make a full meal.  The ideas and possibilities for having a conference room are multiple As a science teacher, another example I can see for using this software is for having  nighttime study or review sessions for my students.   A coach could put up highlights or a new play for the team to check out for the next day.  Distance learning courses or meeting are made easy and can save companies thousands of dollars per year without having to fly their employee to meetings when they can stream it live.  As I see this GVO Conference software as something that can be used in almost any business or even for your own family fun, I am sure you can come up with ideas of your own as well.

I would appreciate you checking out GVO Conference for yourself and making your own informed decision.  If you have any comments of questions please leave them below and I will answer to the best of my ability in my efforts to help you become successful in your business.  This does have the option to be an MLM business for you if you decide, but there is no pressure to bring anyone else in.  If you wanted to use it only for yourself and never promote it, that is up to you, but the option of doing it is there.  As GVO Conference is new in the sense of being independent from GVO as a product, this really could be your opportunity to get in on the “Ground Floor,” but not have to invest hundreds or thousands of dollars and hours of your time driving to meetings and dragging your family and best friends with you.  Heck, my brother might even like this one as he could implement it into his electrical sales position informing clients of new products that are coming out in a Q&A session.  I know he likes to take the guys out golfing, but this can save his company some funds down the road as he would not have to drive to each client and give the same speach over and over again.

mlm traffic formula 2 rebate

Well the time has come where MLM Traffc Formula 2 has finished, almost a year after it began.  Mike Dillard has been adding content into this course consistently since June 2009.  As a paticipant of this version, I am excited to find out that Mike Dillard has deciced to re-open MLM Traffic Formula 2 for a limited time at a great price so that others can benefit from it as well.

Always one to provide high quality training material from the Magnetic Sponsoring Series to Building on a Budget and many others, Mike Dillard has come to be a leader in the online Marketing industry.

His MLM Traffic Formula was released in June 2009. Every month there was a new series of training videos which culminated recently with the final set this month. Mike has decided to share the wealth by bringing in some of his superstars from the first verison of MLM Traffic Formula to help teach the course. You might recognize the names Brian Fanale, Fernando Ceballos and Ray Fong to name a few successful marketers who have come back to help out the next generation of online marketers.

Brian Fanale himself made me a great offer in giving back part of his commision so I could benefit and get an education myself for a great price and I want to extend that offer to everyone out there who is interested in diving into MLM TRaffic Formula 2. For the next 2 days, MLM TRaffic Formula 2 is being offered for $397. When you join through my link and maintain your membership I will give you back $100 to your paypal account after the 1 month trial period. Now who does not like cash coming back into their pocket?

After the clock runs down on May 21, 2010, the price will jump to $997, so you are basically getting 60% off with Mike Dillard’s price, while I am helping to increase that discount to 70% with the extra $100 rebate offer. Your account will have to be verified of course through the Mike’s office!

Come check out MLM Traffic Formula 2 now before the price more than doubles and let me know how I can help you work towards the successes you now want.

Web Hosting and Domain Names-Helping You Take Control of Branding Your Business in Online Overload

Whether you are working to improve your business or have a fun and personal website about yourself, taking the initiative to host it so that you can control it is so much more critical than allowing some other person to run the format/layout of the site. Sites like Facebook, Myspace and Twitter are great formats to put your content, but until you obtain your own domain, any plans to become financially successful are dramatically diminished due to the lack of specific features and benefits on these sites.

For starters, you do not get your own personalized email with these programs.   Nothing works greater than to have your own “FirstLastName@YourDomain.com.” It is possible if you are one of the few with a random name to get your name with an aol, gmail, yahoo etc. account, but these do not show the world any relevant qualities or hints about the person or what they are involved in. Often you end up with something that is a combination of letters and numbers when you use these free email accounts,  which might not help in branding your business one bit! If you want to keep that special one you had many years ago when email really bloomed and you signed up for many accounts with it, there may be a benefit to keeping it.  Taking the initiative to get your own site will allow you to brand yourself and get more people to read your emails as it also becomes more personal. For example, if you send an email to DaveGardner@MagneticSponsors.com, I will be sure to write you back. This email is attached to my website, MagneticSponsors.com. This might get more email conversions than using info@ or support@, though these accounts can be established as well when you begin to define your business better.

Next, when you get your own domain and hosting you have an option of many features and benefits that may include, but are not limited to
cPanel, Fantastico (WordPress and Forums), autoresponders, opt-in forms, email forwarders, site templates, video hosting, conference rooms and more depending on the program or web hosting company you choose. Here is a little breakdown of the benefits of each feature:

1.  cPanel: This allows you total control over your website from editing to loading files through an FTP platform quickly, setting up WordPress, email accounts and more

2.  Fantastico: Allows you to set up your WordPress blog and set up forums related to a topic of interest of the site. These can be places to put advertisements, videos, reviews of products and more.

3. Autoresponders:  when someone comes to your site, you want to keep them coming or at least be able to keep them updated to what is happening with the business of program. These programs allow you to send messages or posts to anyone who opted or signed in to your list.

4. Opt-in:  forms a fill in the blank application that brings a customer or viewer to your autoresponder and then to a site, video, program of choice. Double opt-ins are beneficial in that they guarantee you are not being spammed.  When you send out a message, you may get many returned if the person did not go to their “real” email address and confirm that they were a “real” person accepting messages from you. If you want to see one at work, check out DownforceGuitar.com, which is another site of mine.

5.  Email:   Forwarders These help to streamline your websites.  You might have many sites and not want to log into every cPanel and email account each day. If you have them all forwarded to the same generic email you can save time when you do get a message from that account.

6.  Site:  templates many people do not know how to or care to use html code.
Having ready made templates can save time and easily get your web site up. You can edit as needed in the html editor of cPanel in a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) method.

7.  Video Hosting:  I know Youtube is popular, but a site like this forces people to see other videos that they may find offensive, which is one of the main reasons why as a Science teacher, I do not have access to this site in school. You could embed the code for the video into a premade template (see #6 above) but you still have the Youtube links there and logos. Certain plans allow for video uploading and producing.

8.  Conference Rooms:  We all do not have an endless flow of money to get us around the world at a moments notice to have a meeting with like minded individuals. Getting in front of a computer with a video capabilities allow you to easily meet someone from the other side of the world to host a meeting. These may range from a few seats to thousands of seats that are available for people to log into and be part of the experience. Think Webinars!

When it comes to branding, you want to get a domain name that is easy to remember or looks appealing if you send someone a link or it appears in an ad. As an example, some of my “.coms” are MagneticSponsors, BasicLacrosse, MyGVOTrial, YourReviewGuru, and TheDavidGardner which are all live and consistently updated (some newer than others and therefore have less content). Others I have in the works are MyResourceKit and MyStupidMistake. For the most part, I have been able to set up cPanel accounts for all of these with the respective “DaveGardner@_______________.com” email address.

There are many options out there for catchy domain names and you might want to grab it up before someone else does.  Even if you do not put any effort into setting up the site, you can always do what is called Cash Parking, where the host may put ads onto your site (assuming people stumbled on it by accident and could see Pay Per Click, or PPC ads from a variety of sources. For example, one I have set up at BadLacrosse where you might see everything from Lacrosse the sport, to Buick Lacrosse to LaCrosse Wisconsin! When people click the ad, instead of you getting charged, someone else does and you actually make a commission of the fee.

There are many programs and hosting companies out there and it can be very hard to choose which one is best for you and your business. I personally have gone with GoDaddy for most of my domain name purchases, though I have only set up 1 site with them. Most of my sites are hosted through GVO. I highly suggest checking out both of their offers.

I have also included some of the other major host providers out there below. You may want to do a little comparison shopping to see which one will be the best to suit your businesses needs. While some of your sites might only be one page that captures an email address and leads the person elsewhere, others might have some high tech software like Butterfly Marketing Software installed and may need a bigger bandwidth and more pages as it has viral friend generators, affiliate sales options, merchant linking software and more.

As you now have one of my many email address above, please drop me a message to let me know how things work out for you or if you need assistance with any of these programs that you are going to purchase!

Addicted to Information

I sat and watched a quick 5 minute video the other day by Mike Dillard about information overload and finally took the plunge(r) and flushed many of my emails down the internet drain.  If you are like me and are addicted to information, it is easy to try and sign up for everybody’s list to find out the next best thing to hit the market that will be sure to make your business the best out there and be able to rake in a boat load of cash.  The problem is there really are some great products out there that I want to work with.  Lack of time though has kept me from maximizing some of the products I got as promos or those I personally paid for.  I have gone through many of them with others in line, but the addiction continues as I get slaughtered on the inbox front with hundreds of emails each day.

I finally made good on my recurring thought to unsubscribe from many of the lists I was on as they seemed to be sending me this way and that way everyday to some other product that was going to make my business the best out there and be able to rake in a boat load of cash!  Sound familiar?  So this past weekend, I think I might have unsubscribed from about 50 lists, while I try to pick a few more each day as they come  in.  I haven’t read many of them in months anyways with the exception of a few marketers, who give me content each time and not just a pitch.  It is these wise ones who will stay with my inbox and I will continue to read when I get them as they seem to have the most value and are not just out to get a buck for themselves.

Regardless of whether or not you have heard of Mike Dillard, he is one of the Marketers I will continue to read. As I said above, he put together a 5 minute video on Information Overload you might find interesting for his Whats Working Now program that is coming out soon.  I seem to have spent too much time in the past on all this email and now that I am getting less, I have time to do what matters such as Blogging (hence you are able to read this) and working “on” my business instead of being someone wo just claims to be working “in” the business.  As BobTheTeacher taught me and I have written on a piece of paper in my pocket (that falls apart every few weeks!) I like to follow his TARL idea of Take Action Revise Later.  As a teacher myself, this is a great idea.  If you do not act and make adjustments to those actions as time goes on, you will never get anything done.  So you could say my Whats Working Now theme is TARL!  We all want an endless stream of traffic coming with no or minimal efforts, but the reality is that there is no reality in that.  Action must occur in order to attract people to your sites.

Check out Mike’s video and give it a quick watch at –> Whats Working Now and get back to me and let me know your thoughts on information overload and the TARL idea.

I realize of course I will continue to buy products or try out free ones and get on people lists, but a suggestion I have to you is to get your lists organized and determine which ones are just making for internet clutter in your inbox and plunge them yourselves.
