Selling my Lacrosse Book on Amazon through Create Space overseas

Selling my Lacrosse Book on Amazon through Create Space overseas while not advertising for this is great during the holidays!

Selling my Lacrosse Book on Amazon through Create Space overseas

Sales_Nov-1_Dec-3-2014

I just wanted to share a short post about the awesomeness of the holidays and seeing a boost in book sales for my Lacrosse Book on Amazon through Create Space overseas.  Starting mid November, I noticed that either people think my book is awesome, or they are getting prepared for the holidays.

As seen in the image above, there have been 6 sales in the US, 2 in Europe and a whopping 10 in Great Britain.  Yes, this is awesome for a couple reasons.

  1. This means the word is out there about my book
  2. People might be sharing it with their friends
  3. It should help build rank for my book on Amazon
  4. More Lacrosse players around the world are going to experience the book
  5. My market share continues to grow
  6. There is still time before the holidays to sell more

I could go on about why it is awesome of course, though I will spare you my short moment of egotistical enjoyment!

Besides, who doesn’t love selling something, especially when they really did not have to do anything for it.  Not to say I did nothing for those sales, though I do not ever advertise my book on Amazon.  I do however advertise in other mediums, which might result in someone doing a random Google search of the book to see if they can get it elsewhere, like on Amazon.

There are more perks to picking it up from my personal site at http://LacrosseCommandments.com like a bonus digital copy that is instantly accessibly as well as bonuses like training videos, extra tips and ideas through email coaching and an awesome sticker as well!

You also will be able to stay up to date on specials and other great training tools and products like the Lacrosse Powershaft which helps you shoot faster, check hard and throw farther, just to name a few of the benefits.  You can see what they have to say about that here: http://LacrosseCommandments.com/powershaft

Whether you grab the Commandments of Lacrosse through Amazon (click on the image above) or through my website (see link above) be sure to get out there and take action on becoming a better player in the game of lacrosse…and be sure to tell your friends about the book as well as referrals are always welcome (and you can actually earn commissions when you promote the book as shown here: http://lacrossecommandments.com/Blog/affiliates/)

Keep the sales coming Lacrosse fans…I love seeing them in my Create Space member area!

How Selling a Truck Turns into Business Lead

How Selling a Truck Turns into Business Lead. When you get to know people you come in contact with you can learn a lot about their goals and how they might just need the services you offer.

How Selling a Truck Turns into Business Lead

Good things sometimes come in threes as they say. When I sold my father in laws Chevy S10 Pickup the other day that is was happened to me for sure.

As I was working to get my father in law to sell the truck that had been taking up space for the past few months and not allowing our grass to grow very well, I was finally able to get him to allow me to list it on craigslist.

Less than 48 hours later it was loaded up and heading for a new life with a young business student who has a background working with cars, played Lacrosse like I did and wants to start up his own business.

BINGO!

The idea that he was looking to start his own business once he finished with his degree was a great lead in for me suggesting a friend of mine that could help him out in in providing some of the basics of running that type of business (A truck washing station as this friend had run one in the past and was successful in that venture).

It was also a perfect spot for me to let him know about the marketing tools he should start looking into to develop his own brand and help build his business.

These are the Pure Leverage Marketing tools which include email autoresponder, video email, hosted blog, webinar conference tools and much more.

You can test out these same tools for free here now>> http://TheDavidGardner.com/InstantIncomeSystem

So not only did I get the truck of my land, but also made some money in the sale and developed a lead all at the same time.

One of the morals of the story is to get to know people and what their goals are as you never know who might be the next person that is in need of a service that you can provide.

Another moral of the story is t find yourself something that can hold up your phone to be able to record videos easier so you can get more of you in the picture if no one is there to help.  I am using a JOBY Grip tight Gorilla Pod stand which you can see in the images below: One version is from my garage door frame, while the other is on my pool deck spindles.

Winning the Dot Com Secrets Journal Protege Challenge for Russell Brunson and Dot Com Secrets X

David Gardner won the Dot Com Secrets X contest to kenya and was recently featured in the September 2012 issue of the Dot Com Secrets Journal and shares how he won the trip, used the course and builds his business

I am very proud of Winning the Dot Com Secrets Journal Protege Challenge for Russell Brunson and Dot Com Secrets X!

I was even more stoked to find out that I would be a featured story in Russell Brunson’s full color print marketing journal that gets mailed to thousands of readers on a monthly basis!  Yeah, that is me holding the September 2012 edition!

Here is a video of me and Russell together over in Kenya as well saying our thanks!

I can’t believe I have been back for almost two months already since taking yet another “trip of a lifetime”  Having spent time in the Peace Corps and doing an internship in Central America…I have been blessed to experience a few of these lifetime trips!

You want to know what it all boils down to?

Action!

I take action when things present themselves that I am highly interested in, like travelling to far off reaches of the world to help out.

It is as simple as that!

If you took some action, I am sure you would start seeing results as well…Just try not to get frustrated if the results do not show up instantly.  For example, with the Dot Com Secrets X course, I did not make a ton of sales, but I made more than normal and even more importantly, I have used the knowledge gained in the course to continue to build my subscriber list, where I can continue to promote other products and services.

I am also taking everything I learned and applying it towards solving other people’s problems and teaching them how to be successful.  I would hardly call myself anything remotely near the level of a guru, like Russell Brunson, Armand Morin, David Frey, Stu McLaren and others that I had the pleasure of hanging out with for 10 days in Kenya…but some of the things I picked up from them have worked out very well for me.

By sharing certain knowledge with others, relative newbies are greatful for my help and this is the first part developing that relationship that leads to the “know, like and trust” category where they will be willing to buy from me when I complete my first product in a certain niche!

I just completed and published my first Lacrosse book called “The Commandments of Lacrosse” and you can bet your life I have been implementing many thing that marketing has taught me along the way…and yes, I can even make changes and update it when the technology changes or new methods of marketing come about.

It again is all about taking action and revising later…or we could also point out the ideo of the “Ready, Fire, Aim” mantra that is on the sign I am holding in the video with Russell Brunson!
One thing is for sure…If you act on something, you will see results in one way or another…Your lack of action however will guarantee you no results…that is something that I just will not settle for and you should take it upon yourself to not settle for as well!

How I Am Getting Lower Bid Prices With Facebook Advertising

With information gained through Futuristic Marketing as well as Armand Morin while in Kenya I have picked up some tips to help lower my Facebook Advertising costs and build my fanpage quickly

A I  have been going about the Futuristic Marketing course one thing comes to mind which all Marketers need to follow.

…the key is taking action

Just to give you an update about my results!

I have started to promote on one of my Lacrosse fanpages as seen here:

https://www.facebook.com/BasicLacrosse/app_374126399298965

The course had software that allowed us to set up capture pages and I was able to integrate GVO into it as well (so I did not have to add yet another service into my business plan like aweber or iconcact)

Anyways, I am still testing this as I modified my bid price and had not gotten any clicks yet where I had been too low to begin with.

The good news is I have doubled the people who have “liked” the page, so though they may not be on my mailing list, the viral nature of Facebook is bringing me to them whenever I want for the most part as well as taking me to their friends pages as well.

When they like me, their freinds see it as well and that actually lead to a sale of my Lacrosse book and an offer to come set up my booth at a tournament in October!

I had replied to her email about the purchase and how she had heard about the site and she said she saw it on her friends Facebook Wall and “had to have a copy herself!”

It is all about taking action.

Here is the good news….I was bidding on a “sponsored story” which is what sends someone to your facebook page in an effort to gain more followers in the terms of them “liking” the page.

I set an initial bid as per the suggestions of the Futuristic Marketing leaders at $1.00 per click.  Now this might bring some aprehension on people and myself as well in the beginning.

The key is to have Facebook see that your ad is clickable!

When they see people actually taking action on your ad, your CTR, or Click through rate becomes better.  When you can keep the value above 0.1, you will start to see better prices paid out.

I started paying about $0.60 each about 5 days ago and am already down to $0.42 as of this morning.

If you are trying FB ads, you can try this as well.

Now for a little bad news, Futuristic Marketing is closed now, but you can get on their mailing list in case they do their evergreen launch, though the price might be a little higher.

The good news, though is that my fellow Kenyan traveller Armand Morin has a great Facbook Ad Secret training that you can check out right now here

http://thedavidgardner.com/FacebookAdSecret

If you are on my mailing list at http://MagneticSponsors.com you might remember from the email I sent a week or so ago, Armand was the one who talked to us about always bidding higher than the suggested rate, becuase in the long run FB usually comes down in the price anyways!.

He has a ton of more suggestions that you can act upon to make your own fanpages and websites get some better quality traffic starting today…The key is taking action!

Lake Placid Lacrosse 2010

Going to the Lake Placid Lacrosse Tournament for the first time ever in 2010 was worth the wait.

buy diet pill online value=”true” />

Having played Lacrosse for almost 30 years now with the tournament going strong for over 20, it was nice that I finally got the opportunity to head up to Lake Placid and participate on the Laxfu team which was made up of many of my old high school Lacrosse alumni from West Genesee HS, in Camillus, NY as well as some of their respective college teammates, many of which were Priceton Tigers.

Playing 4 games in 28 hours was a little interesting on the body after not really getting into the shape I wanted to be in prior to the games.  Running had been bothering my knee so I figured I might as well save the pain for the tournament.  A tweak here, a tightening there,  a bruise or slashmark over there and I ended up making it through without a “major” injury, which is always a blessing when trying to be a weekend warrior.

Getting together with everyone was great off the field as well to be able to catch up on times and see how their families have grown (many wives, parents and children attended as well).  To develop new friendships with teammates from other schools was also a great reminder of the power of lacrosse.  It is such a community developer and allows for networking to blossom and has allowed many of us to be successful in our current careers.

Though going up with the intent to be competitive, which we were, just missing the championship tournament by a few points, we ended up 2-2, losing both of our afternoon games (the second of each day).  One of the loses was by only 1 goal and the other was to the eventual champion, Rusty Red, a group of Cornell Alumnus (who repeated as champs).  The other intent was to have a good time, which I believe all that came did, from the players to their family.  I am looking forward to next year already and will get myself in a little better shape so the recovery is quicker on my aging bones!

The surroundings themselves were great, though it could have been a little warmer when we were not playing.  Taking part in some of the Olympic scenery and the Jumping Center was great and my three girls loved watching the “skiers” go down the hills, leap and flip into the pool below!
