Shiny Ball Syndrome

Diagnosed with SBS?

I am wondering if you have been diagnosed with SBS?

I personally did as well, though I am recovering nicely.

You know, shiny ball syndrome?

Where you jump from one op to the next thinking you are going to
find the next best thing...the one and all shiny object to fix
all your problems.

The next greatest gadget or software to bring in a buttload of
leads.

The social media exploder.

The video creation ninja.

All the crap you see all over the internet might be able to help
you in one way, but is sure not going to solve your problems if you
keep buying everything under the sun.

I should know as I suffered from SBS myself in the past.

As a teacher, I felt I should learn everything myself and be able to
do it all myself...and then teach others about it.

While I did learn a lot over the first years of my online growth, It also
cost me a lot and kept my focus to an extremely low point.

I was all over the place.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

I was always looking for things that could make my sites, videos and
funnels better.

While some did, others turned out to be crap.

More time wasted that if I had just stuck with the basics might have
given me better results.

Then in 2015 my world came crashing down and my marriage came
to an end.

I lost my voice so to speak and backed away from most of what I had
been trying to build for over a year.

I still read some, but the video production, blog creation, email writing
and more came to a near halt.

There were bigger things to focus on like getting my mind clear and making
sure things were good for my 3 daughters.

Less is more.

Over time (and with my middle child asking me over and over when I was going
to put out a new video) I did get back into it and FOCUSED.

I focused on less...

...and got better results!

I kept it simple (hopefully you know the KISS philosophy)

2017 was my best year ever and 2018 is going to be no different.

You must focus if you want to not suffer from SBS.

Find one thing that works and do it over and over and over...Be
consistently consistent.

As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day...well neither should you feel
your business will be either.

It takes time, consistent effort, refusal to quit and even investments
of time, money or both.

Two of the most important ideas you can focus on to grow anything
would be:

1) Traffic (people coming to check out your page)
2) Conversions (people who opt in/upgrade compared to the traffic)

FOCUS on those two and you can see slow and steady exponential
growth over time.

Remove all the other distrations from your life...yes this could be painful
or it might be just like ripping a band-aid off of a cut.

Just do it.

Unsubscribe from email lists you are on that are not providing value and
only give you short messages with links to buy their stuff.

This alone can start to help clear your mind of all the gadgets that are out there
causing SBS to destroy your progress.

As for me...

...My focus is on a couple main things!

1) Build me as a leader: I want people to know who I am and look to me for
advice/recommendations.

2) I consistently follow up with and offer people products on the back end
that will help their business get up and running with the right tools...Just like
I am doing with you here.

Having done this since 2009, I have learned a few strategies over those
years and want to share a report with you if you have not already seen it.

You can grab it at right here:

Notice, this is my piece of the internet...Not some other companies, though
it all ties back into the one I am focused on and how I built my team.

Go check it out now and see what you might just learn in the process that
can help you out...find something that resonates with your every being
and do that over and over again.

You do not need to practice every method in there, but do the ones you
find interesting consistently and you will see growth over time.

Let's do this!
